Serving the Community<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We <\/span>serve our community in various ways throughout the year.\u00a0 <\/span>The Men of the church are intentional on serving, cutting wood for a neighbor who uses wood as their heating source all winter long. <\/span>Our men 30 to 91 years of age are ready to serve and meet the needs of our neighbors.<\/span><\/p>

Winter is a slower time in our ministries, but we still enjoy good fellowship and fun.\u00a0 All men are invited to join for fellowship and a meal the 3rd Wednesday of each month.\u00a0 Meet at the church at 5:30 p.m. and carpool to a nearby restaurant!\u00a0 Contact Dave or Mike H. for more info!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Children's Ministry<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Children matter to us.\u00a0 We offer a unique blend of fun, learning about Jesus and friendship, all Bible-based!\u00a0 There is a weekly children’s chat, the children join us for Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month and the other Sunday’s they go with instructors who help them know the Bible through fun learning tools.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

In our efforts to help children gain a deeper understanding of “church words” and why we do what we do, the children have been learning about becoming “acolytes”, or helpers\/servers in the church and to the pastor.\u00a0 They are also learning the meaning of Holy Communion and baptism and several were baptized this summer!\u00a0 The top picture is our recent recognition of some of our newly added acolytes, ready and willing to serve God!\u00a0 Currently, the children have been building the city of Jerusalem!\u00a0 It will be introduced and explained to the congregation on June 28th during our regular worship service!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t

Upcoming Events<\/strong> –\u00a0<\/p>

Every Tuesday 7 p.m. – Bible Study<\/p>

Sat. 7\/25 – 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Vacation Bible School\/Arts Camp.\u00a0 Children 1st-6th grade are welcome!\u00a0 Lunch served.\u00a0 A limit of 20 participants – call or email the church asap for your reserved spot!<\/p>

Wed. 7\/27 – 5:30-7 p.m. We are once again partnering with Reason for Hope ministries in handing out backpacks and school supplies to school aged children FREE!\u00a0 A light meal will be served.<\/p>

Sun. 8\/2 – Holy Communion during worship.<\/p>

Sun. 8\/2 – 4 – 6:30 p.m. – Free-will lasagna dinner to benefit Kathy Dunafin for her cancer treatments.\u00a0 Come on out, let us fix dinner with all the trimmings and help Kathy & Rod navigate this challenge financially!<\/p>

Sun. 8\/2 – 6:30 p.m. – REVIVAL!\u00a0 Tood Herendeen and the FTD band will be here once again for REVIVAL!\u00a0 Concert is free, come ready to renew your spirit!\u00a0 A love offering will be taken to help offset costs of travel for the band.\u00a0 THIS EVENT FILLS UP FAST!\u00a0 Come for dinner and grab your seat early!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
