WinGS – Women in God’s Service<\/p>

Meeting the 3rd Wednesday monthly including a meal. 5:30PM. Our meetings center on fellowship, food, and planning events to raise mission money.<\/p>

Serving the Community<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We <\/span>serve our community in various ways throughout the year.\u00a0 <\/span>The Men of the church are intentional on serving, cutting wood for a neighbor who uses wood as their heating source all winter long. <\/span>Our men 30 to 91 years of age are ready to serve and meet the needs of our neighbors.<\/span><\/p>

Winter is a slower time in our ministries, but we still enjoy good fellowship and fun.\u00a0 All men are invited to join for fellowship and a meal the 3rd Wednesday of each month.\u00a0 Meet at the church at 5:30 p.m. and carpool to a nearby restaurant!\u00a0 Contact Dave or Mike H. for more info!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Children's Ministry<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Children matter to us.\u00a0 We offer a unique blend of fun, learning about Jesus and friendship, all Bible-based!\u00a0 There is a weekly children’s chat, the children join us for Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month and the other Sunday’s they go with instructors who help them know the Bible through fun learning tools.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

In our efforts to help children gain a deeper understanding of “church words” and why we do what we do, the children have been learning about becoming “acolytes”, or helpers\/servers in the church and to the pastor.\u00a0 They are also learning the meaning of Holy Communion and baptism and several were baptized this summer!\u00a0 The top picture is our recent recognition of some of our newly added acolytes, ready and willing to serve God!<\/p>

Every Tuesday 7 p.m. – Bible Study<\/p>

Thurs. 4\/23 – 5:30 p.m. – We are sponsoring a young women’s softball game at Prairie Heights High School.\u00a0 Come on out and enjoy!<\/p>

Sun. 5\/3 – Holy Communion.\u00a0 Today we will honor our local fire departments with a meal and a donation for their commitment to the community!<\/p>

2 p.m. – Honoring our Eagle Scout TJ Knox with a ceremony for area scouts.\u00a0 Everyone is welcome to celebrate the accomplishments of these young men!\u00a0 Refreshments will be served!<\/p>

Tues. 5\/5 – Noon – 6 p.m. Red Cross Bloodmobile.\u00a0 Note day\/date change from the normal, we are accommodating Red Cross scheduling for this month only.\u00a0 Next time it will be back to the normal 1st Wed.\u00a0<\/p>

Fri\/Sat. 5\/15-16 – 9 – 3 p.m.\u00a0 our annual HUGE rummage sale!\u00a0 You don’t want to miss this!<\/p>

Wed. 5\/20 – 5:30 p.m. WinGS women’s group and the men’s group meet.\u00a0 Ladies will be provided a meal, men will meet and go out for a meal and fellowship.<\/p>
